Imagining the role science will play in NZ's future - Blinc Innovation Series

  • S1 Lecture Theatre Lincoln University Lincoln New Zealand (map)

What impact will science have on our future?

Join Blinc and Juliet A. Gerrard, the Chief Science Advisor to the Prime Minister, at our Innovation Series Breakfast on 11 September where we’ll be discussing the role science will play in our our society, creating a sustainable world and the future food chain.

We are seeing the development of parallel food systems as science and new business models are tested to find alternatives to feed a growing wealthier population who are looking for nutrient rich food while also looking to protect and enhance our world - beautiful whole fresh food alongside manufactured food. What Is New Zealand’s role in responding to these challenges. Where can science make a difference alongside new business models? How do we work out what the best use of our land is for New Zealand’s future generations?

‘Science’ is considered in its very broadest sense. Our Chief Scientist wants to hear the audience’s views on which parts of science might make the biggest difference to New Zealand. Bring your ideas and thoughts and help shape the future - all are very welcome at our Innovation Breakfast.
